První zemědělská a.s.Tuněchody – Monika Kalousková Farm milk prom Tuněchody

The První zemědělská, a. s. Tuněchody was founded as a joint-stock company in 1993. It currently manages 1,500 ha of arable land. The company deals with plant and animal production. It produces wheat, barley, rye for ergot, canola, sugar beet, corn, peas, potatoes, alfalfa and clover.

The agricultural company keeps about 1,100 cattle, of which 400 are dairy cows. It produces both milk and meat. Milk processed by gentle pasteurization is intended for direct consumption or for further cooking.

They rebuilt the building of the former onion plant, which they no longer used, and bought a dairy farm for it. They rented the modified space to Mr Souček, who used to take their milk to make cheese at home. So they started producing their own farm milk for this mini dairy and started selling pasteurized, but also chilled milk to other customers.

The mini dairy thus started producing cheese right at the source of the milk and expanded the product portfolio to include kefir and others. In this way, Tuněchody farmer's milk reaches customers further.

They have been using the Iron Mountains regional product certificate for their milk since 2021.

You can only buy Tuněchody farmer's milk on the premises of the company in Tuněchody directly on the scale. When can you come for the milk? Monday to Friday mornings from 8.00 to 11.00 and in the afternoon from 12.30 to 15.30. On Saturday morning from 8.00 to 9.30. During the summer and autumn months, První zemědělská a.s. sells at the same location also potatoes or onions.
