Jana Otčenášková Bobiny cookies
Life is about overcoming obstacles. Jana Otčenášková, who has been the owner of a small snack bar with ice cream called "U Bobina" in Nová Ves near Nasavrky, since 201, knows her stuff.
The establishment got its special name after the red cat that appeared at Jana's place right after opening, and together they greeted customers all day. She also named her product Bobiny cookies after the cat.
Before Jana Otčenášková opened a restaurant in Nová Ves, she supported herself by babysitting. She worked as an au pair in Ireland and later in Prague. The original recipe for whole wheat biscuits, which she brought with her, also comes from Ireland. But Jana modified the recipe so that it was more suitable for our conditions. They try to buy ingredients for cookies from local sources. She likes to collect recipes and cookbooks. Interested in canning and canning.
Chocolate, hazelnut, apricot, plum, cranberry, apple or classic, are the flavours of Jana´s whole grain cookies. Due to their coconut-honey taste, they are popular among mothers with children, as well as drivers on long journeys.
"Bobiny" whole grain biscuits have had the Iron Mountains regional product certificate since 2019.
The producer sells her cookies by the piece according to the flavour you're in the mood for or in 250 g mixed packs. It delivers them to health food stores in the region and to Babiččina Dvoreček in Licibořice. You can also meet Mrs Otčenášková with cookies at one of the fairs in the region. Snacks store in Nová Ves are open from spring to autumn.
